Recently married, Mrs. Yates (formerly Stacy Estes), focuses in physician and pharmacist professional liability, healthcare compliance, criminal defense and general civil litigation.

Mrs. Yates graduated with honors from the University of Tampa. Upon graduating law school at Texas Tech University, Mrs. Yates was appointed an Assistant State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. As a prosecutor, she personally handled thousands of DUI and misdemeanor cases and hundreds of felony cases ranging from aggravated battery to armed robbery to career criminals. Mrs. Yates has tried over 30 jury and non-jury trials.

In addition to her criminal law experience, Mrs. Yates is also a civil trial attorney whose experience and training include the representation of pharmacists, physicians and other healthcare professionals before regulatory bodies, including the Florida Department of Health Board of Medicine and Board of Pharmacy and in liability defense. Mrs. Yates also assists clients in compliance with federal and state regulations, licensure and in negotiating business relationships with other providers and vendors.
